A resident of Wilson County, I grew up in the Gladeville community. I currently reside in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and am committed to serving the citizens of Wilson County and the surrounding middle Tennessee area. As a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, I received my Juris Doctorate in May 2010.. My legal experiences prior to “hanging my own shingle” included serving as a student attorney for the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic and clerking for Holland Law in Knoxville. Those experiences allowed her to be involved in criminal defense, family law, general civil litigation, business law, probate, juvenile, and housing cases. I also interned for Judge Thomas Varlan of the Eastern District of Tennessee Federal Court and for the Tennessee General Assembly working under Tommie F. Brown and the Higher Education Subcommittee.. My biggest passion in life is serving my clients to the best of my ability, spoiling my nephew Alexander, and spending time with my friends and fur kids, CoCo, Cricket, and Aspen.

I understand that your case involves the most important thing in your life--your family. I also understand that each case and each client are different.. My philosophy is that there is no "one size fits all" divorce. I work actively with my clients on all aspects of their cases. I know that working closely and communicating effectively with my clients ensures that I understand each client's unique goals. This allows for the best possible outcome for every individual client.. My approach is to avoid the expense and stress associated with litigation whenever possible, utilizing collaborative law and mediation when appropriate. This approach preserves family relationships, minimizes trauma to children, and saves tremendous amounts of money and time.. Unfortunately, sometimes settlement is not an appropriate option. In litigated matters, I rely on thorough trial preparation and aggressive advocacy to protect what matters most to each client, keeping in mind the client's goals and budget.. As a mediator, I assist both parties and their counsel (if represented) in settling their disputes themselves. I help both sides work together to attack the problem instead of each other. The successful result is a settlement that best meets the needs of each individual family. Avoiding litigation saves money and time, but more importantly, preserves important family relationships for the future.

Firm: Digby Family Law, PLC
Practice Areas: Child Custody
After I graduated from Vanderbilt Law School, I chose to practice family law due to my genuine concern for those needing representation during what can often be the most stressful and emotional periods of their lives. I now focus my practice on a range of family law matters including: child support, custody, grandparent visitation, alimony, guardianships, adoption, divorce, and father's rights. My undergraduate degree in Psychology, past work in a domestic violence legal clinic, and my internship for the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse division of the Indianapolis Prosecutor's Office have given me a unique insight into some of the more delicate issues related to family law. Because of this background I strive to be a zealous advocate for my clients while also taking the time to listen to their individual needs.
