As a small child she would go to her Father, Charles Terry’s Law office on Saturday mornings and listen as he worked and met with his clients. Thus, her love affair with the law began.. Denise worked with her Father, Charles Terry since June 1982 and continued working with him until his death in May 2009. During their 28 year partnership they tried hundreds of jury trials, both civil and criminal, and assisted thousands of people in the Lakeway Area who had been seriously injured or wrongly accused. Charlie Terry always told his daughter that we “…proudly represent the man behind the plow…” Denise enjoys every day that she has the opportunity to assist the people of this community.. Jacqulyn has worked for The Terry Law Firm for many years in different capacities, and is the most recent member of the family to join the firm as an Attorney. Jacqulyn focuses in the areas of Workers Compensation, Social Security Disability, Wills, Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. Jacqulyn is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the Tennessee Association for Justice.. Jacqulyn grew up in Bulls Gap and Morristown, Tennessee. She is the daughter of Chuck Terry and Jack & Becki Gaut. She graduated from All Saints Episcopal School in 1997, Morristown East High School in 2001, and Walters State Community College in 2003. She received her B.S. from East Tennessee State University in 2005. In May of 2010, Jacqulyn earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence at the Nashville School of Law. She is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Tennessee.. Locally, Jacqulyn is involved in the community by serving on the board of Ridin’ High Therapeutic horse riding program dedicated to helping disabled individuals, Friends of Bethesda, and Encore Theatrical Company. She is also a Mock Trial Coach for Chuckey Doak High School.
