Jon is originally from the Fort Worth area. He graduated from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business and then attended the Texas Tech School of Law.  In law school Jon participated in several practice court activities, reaching the final rounds and winning awards in several. He also served as an editor on two journals, the Texas Tech Law Review and the Estate Planning & Community Property Journal. In his third year of law school, Jon had the opportunity to argue a real case before one of the United States Circuit Courts, the level of court just before the U.S. Supreme Court.. Initially, Jon worked as a law clerk with the firm and then went on to work as an attorney in the firm’s litigation department for three years. After a two and half year absence in which he had his own law firm and relocated to Austin, he rejoined the firm to work with Kevin Glasheen in our Austin office.
