Hi! My name is Brandon Warren. I wanted to take a minute to tell you a little bit about myself, because I think it is important that you feel comfortable with the lawyer you choose to represent you.. Professional. I moved to Fort Worth in May of 2011 to attend Texas A&M School of Law, and I graduated in 2014. By the time I graduated in 2014, I already had gained three years of invaluable experience in bankruptcy law by working as an intern a local bankruptcy firm. Since then, I have represented hundreds of clients, sharpening my knowledge in the nuances of bankruptcy law. In August of 2018, I took the next step in my legal career by forming Acker Warren, P.C. with Sean Acker.. More important than my legal knowledge, however, is the pride I take in being a good counselor to my clients. I’m very personable, and I find that I connect with my clients easily. Further, my years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney leaves me very comfortable in assisting my clients with their legal needs.. I was born in 1988 in Dallas, Texas. I grew up in Duncanville, Texas and graduated from Duncanville High School in 2007. I moved to Tyler, Texas in the fall of 2007 to attend the University of Texas at Tyler. I played soccer for the University for 4 seasons; 2 of those seasons ended with an American Southwest Conference championship and a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament. I still follow the sport closely and play recreationally. I have traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil numerous times, and I am conversational in Portuguese (don’t test me too hard on that, though). Other places I've had a really great time visiting include London, Edinburgh, and Monterrey, Mexico.

Alex Wathen comes from a family of Catholic Kentucky bourbon makers.
Some of his relatives still make Wathen's Kentucky Bourbon. Alex has
taken on a much more global perspective and likes to learn and
experience new cultures and people in different parts of the world. He
also speaks French, Spanish, and Swedish. Although having received some
education in Europe, Alex is a great believer in our educational system
in the United States. He received his B.A. degree from the University
of Southern California, his M.L.S. degree from the University of North
Texas, and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. He has
also taken classes at various other colleges and universities to enrich
himself. Alex has continued his commitment to education as a lawyer. He

For the entirety of my career as an attorney, I have represented homeowners, landowners, consumers, and debtors with a variety of financial and credit issues. I enjoy representing these people rather than the faceless corporations. It gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction to help people going through hard times.. When someone is being harassed or sued by the debt collectors; about to have their home foreclosed upon; having land taken by the government; or have inaccuracies on their credit report; a creditor or corporation may treat a person as if it has the upper hand and that the person has no rights. I went to law school at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. While there I excelled in legal research and writing, and I worked as a teaching assistant for the research and writing course. I also served in the law clinic which gave me my first taste of representing the same type of client that I am representing today.. I graduated with honors from Washburn in December 2007 and after taking the Texas bar exam, became licensed to practice law in Texas in May 2008. As I said above, I have been representing homeowners, landowners, consumers, and debtors from the first day I was licensed as an attorney. I have written articles relating to financial and credit issues and I have had Federal Court decisions published regarding my cases. From May 2008 to May 2012 I worked at a law firm in Dallas that represents clients having financial and credit problems. My wife and I then decided that we wanted to be closer to family and get back to West Texas. I have had my own firm since that time.
