Based in Austin, Texas, Alex Shahrestani studied computer science as an undergrad and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas.. For the past several years Mr. Shahrestani has launched startups, served on boards, developed strategies, and increased funds for a prestigious network of business clients. His strengths are in developing business strategies - with a focus on technology startups and nonprofit organizations.. Alex is heavily involved in pro bono services, and was awarded the Pro Bono Beacon Award in three consecutive years, 2016, 2017, and 2018. He was also awarded admittance to the Texas State Bar's Pro Bono College for the same three years.His pro bono work has involved supporting around a dozen different organizations, including educating children about their legal rights, training children for a mock trial before the Texas Supreme Court, providing businesses legal and consulting advice through the Texas C-Bar project, volunteering with Veterans Legal Services, and more..
