After graduating from high school she attended college and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston, majoring in Criminal Justice. Upon graduating from college, she became a paralegal and worked for a prominent Houston law firm for 10 years before deciding to go to law school. After graduating from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Kristin started her own law firm focusing primarily on family law issues.
