I started my career working in complex commercial litigation. In my early career, my work primarily focused on assisting large corporate entities litigate significant insurance policies. Although the work was sophisticated, I knew it was missing the human element that I desired. Once I realized this I made a concious decision to transition my practice to focus primarily on domestic litigation.. Today, the bulk of my practice consists of domestic litigation, which includes divorce, custody actions, child support actions, modification and order enforcement. I know that divorce and custody issues are often the most emotionally and financially stressful times in my clients' lives and I take great pride in walking them through the process.. Jake Cowdin grew up in Utah and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Weber State University. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree, Jake moved to Nevada where he attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.
