Post law school, Nonie practiced in the area of criminal defense as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, Florida. Nonie started her career at the Public Defenders Office representing alleged juvenile offenders in the juvenile justice system in Florida. Thereafter, Nonie was promoted to the felony criminal trial division and represented accused first, second, and third degree felony offenders. Nonie's time as a litigation attorney with the Public Defender's office has garnered her with an immense amount of trial, litigation, negotiation and legal writing experience.. In February of 2016 Nonie moved from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Utah and and began working for the Utah Administrative Office of the Courts as their Domestic Violence Program Coordinator. After she successfully passed the Utah Bar Exam, Nonie accepted a position as an Associate Attorney with Just Law, bringing her trial advocacy and negotiation skills with her for her clients.
