Luis A. Perez-Pietri is a distinguished civic leader and highly recognized attorney with a record of demonstrated accomplishments over his professional career. He received his J.D. with honors, from the University of Puerto Rico and an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University. For the past 30 years Mr. Perez has maintained a litigation practice focused on domestic relations, juvenile and criminal law including:  jury trials resulting in acquittals on serious charges such as rape, malicious wounding and larceny; divorce cases involving properties and assets located in different countries and complex conflict of law issues involving application and interpretations of foreign laws and orders; and Custody cases involving relocation of children to countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Mexico.  He is actively involved with the Fairfax Bar, the Virginia State Bar and the community where he has held numerous leadership positions.
