Eric Nelson was born and raised in Seattle (Capitol Hill neighborhood) and attended O'Dea High School. After graduating from the University of Washington in 1988, Eric obtained his law degree, with honors (cum laude), from Pepperdine University Law School in 1992. He began his legal career in 1992 by forming the law firm of Nelson & Associates, P.S. with his father, Richard Nelson..
