Amy Pivetta is from western Washington-born in Seattle, raised in Auburn. She attended the University of Washington, earning a B.A. in Anthropology in 2000 before earning a Juris Doctor from The University of Montana School of Law in 2004.. Hailing from an entrepreneurial family, Amy's grandparents owned a wholesale hardware business where she learned that your integrity is your bond. Growing up around her father's construction business, she learned that a successful business takes years of hard work, strong relationships, and appetite for risk. She also paid attention when her stepmother saw an opportunity to improve local 911 operations and training and built a successful internationally renowned business based solely upon her knowledge and skills.. It was inevitable that Amy also took the path of entrepreneurship. She has owned businesses outside of her legal career and served her local community in several elected and appointed positions.. In 2010, Amy opened APH Law PLLC and served small businesses and individuals in the south Puget Sound area. After moving to Edmonds in 2019, Amy re-positioned her practice as RISE Corporate Counsel to exclusively provide outside general counsel representation for seasoned entrepreneurs with multiple interests and thriving single enterprises needing dedicated day-to-day legal assistance.
