At Anderegg & Associates, our mission is to provide the highest quality legal representation to all of our clients. We represent our clients through smart and aggressive lawyering. The aim of our representation is to maintain our clients informed and engaged in their own case while remaining sensitive to the impact of litigation on their personal lives.. Anderegg & Associates is a well respected and reputable law firm concentrating its practice in the areas of criminal and traffic defense. The firm is located in Milwaukee and has been serving clients statewide for twenty years. Our attorneys have a combined 30 years of experience successfully litigating cases and defending our clients. We have practiced, and continue to practice, in every county of the State of Wisconsin. We also have attorneys admitted to practice in both the Eastern and Western Federal district courts, the Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.. While we have long been acclaimed for our work on defending drunk-driving offenses of all types, we have also developed a strong reputation in the defense of all misdemeanor and felony charges. Our attorneys are active in State Bar organizations, and have published articles in the Wisconsin Lawyer magazine, and put on continuing legal education seminars for other attorneys.. It is not, however, all the professional accolades which bring us the greatest satisfaction. Instead, it is the opportunity to serve our clients and assist them with quality representation during a difficult time in their lives. We pride ourselves on providing an aggressive defense while remaining sensitive to the turmoil that criminal charges can bring to one’s personal life. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.

"Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are". Sickened by the state of our criminal "justice" system, the dehuminazation of criminal defendants, and the blatant disrespect of personal rights afforded to the people by the U.S. Constitution, Attorney Nicole Muller has dedicated her life to a career that attempts to address issues that plague criminal defendants in Wisconsin.. In a world where over 95% of criminal cases are resolved through plea agreements, Attorney Muller prides herself in the level of representation she provides to each of her clients--representation that focuses on pre-trial issues and motions; representation that does not seek the best plea agreement, but rather seeks justice.. Based on these passions, Attorney Muller has worked with the Racine County Public Defender’s office to create a sentencing manual that attempted to reduce racial prejudice from detrimentally impacting a defendant’s sentence. Attorney Muller has also worked on issues surrounding the disproportional impact cash bail programs have on Milwaukee’s and Wisconsin’s urban poor; racial discrepancies in the courtroom and how jury pooling practices ultimately reduce a minority defendant from having a jury that represents a fair cross section of his or her community; and many other issues impacting criminal defendants here in Wisconsin.. Now, Attorney Muller is an Attorney at Birdsall Obear & Associates, LLC--a firm that exclusivley practices criminal defense. Focusing only on criminal defense has allowed Attorney Muller, and Birdsall Obear & Associates, to aquire the skills and knowledge to provide individuals with over-the-top representation. If interested in talking with Attorney Muller, feel free to contact Birdsall Obear & Associates.

Olivia focuses her practice on criminal defense and revocation of probation and extended supervision.Olivia was born and raised in Iowa but has since made Milwaukee her home. Olivia first moved to Wisconsin to study anthropology at Marquette University in 2013. While at Marquette, Olivia joined the pre-law scholars’ program. This program allowed her to begin law school during her senior year of undergrad. Olivia started law school at Marquette in 2016, graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in anthropology in 2017, and finished law school in the top 8% of her graduating class in 2019.. While in law school, Olivia became very involved with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, which helped foster Olivia’s passion for helping the little guy. Following that passion to help the underdog, Olivia first interned in the Washington County District Attorney’s office, where she gained important insights into charging decisions and plea negotiations. From there, Olivia interned in the Milwaukee office of the State Public Defender. There, she realized her calling for helping those accused of crimes fight back against the powerful and oppressive forces of the prosecutors, police, and judges. While in law school, Olivia competed in Moot Court and was named the champion and best oral argument in the 2018 Jenkins Honors Moot Court competition. Olivia was also an associate editor of the Marquette Law Review. She was also named to the Dean’s List every semester of law school.. Immediately after law school, Olivia joined the Wisconsin State Public Defender in the Racine trial office. While there, Olivia handled a mixed caseload, including misdemeanors, felonies, and revocations of probation and extended supervision. Olivia has tried cases to a jury and won, securing critical not guilty verdicts for clients despite adverse video evidence and witness testimony. She tirelessly fought for her clients through all of the procedural and systematic barriers in place and negotiated favorable outcomes, including dismissals, for clients.. Oliva is excited to continue her legal career and her fight for justice at Kuchler and Cotton! Olivia believes that every client and every case is unique and will take the time to listen to clients to ensure that every client gets the best possible outcome for their situation. When Olivia is not fighting the metaphorical David versus Goliath fight, she enjoys reading and hanging out with her boyfriend and their dog, Rainy, and cat, Dahlia.. Olivia is admitted to practice in all Wisconsin state courts and the federal Eastern District of Wisconsin court.
