This mediation not only saved them time and money but also allowed them to maintain a cordial relationship post-divorce.

I represent my clients completely, focusing on what they really want as a result and working with them and their partner to get there.  Some of my Family Law clients stay married.  These partners stay married because I recognize that they have issues in their relationships, but do not want to be divorced.  If both parties agree that they want to preserve their marriage, I engage in marital mediation to resolve the issues that are causing the difficulties.. I believe that no one gets married to get divorced.  Family is most important.  If a family can remain intact, it is the best result.. If a couple needs to divorce, I work with my client to do this in the least expensive and traumatic manner possible.  I encourage Mediation and Collaborative Divorce wherever possible.  Mediation is where both parties work with a Mediator to resolve their issues and come to their own agreement.  In Collaborative Divorce, each party has an attorney who must be Collabotatively trained, and the parties sign a contract that they will not go to Court regarding issues but will work within the Collaborative process to do so.  Both Mediation and Collaborative Divorce save money, personal energy, stress, and time.  Also, these processes are private so peoples' most personal business remains out of the Court spotlight.. Family Law issues are most difficult and stressful for my clients.  I work with them to resolve their matters with as little stress and expense as possible.
