Evan joined Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C. in 2024. Since 2013, Evan has worked as outside corporate counsel for entities ranging from small tech startups to large multinational trade groups and corporations. For his corporate clients, his representation includes: contract preparation, negotiation and review; mergers, acquisitions and sales; governance oversight; regulatory compliance; intellectual property licensing; and non-litigation employment law matters, among others. He has also performed national security policy work regarding critical infrastructure protection for the Department of Homeland Security.. Evan received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School (2013). While in law school, he was a legal extern for the Department of Labor's Civil Rights Center, the U.S. Marshals Service's Office of General Counsel, the Homicide Division of the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office for Prince George’s County, and the Office of the Judge Advocate for the U.S. Army in Heidelberg, Germany, among others. He is licensed in Virginia.. He received his undergraduate degrees in English and Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin (2009).
