He is an active member of the Virginia Bar Association, having served as the Chair of its Domestic Relations Section (2021-2022) and the City of Richmond Bar Association, having served as the chairperson of its Pro Bono Committee and a member of the Judicial Committee and the Administration of Justice Committee.
