Rafael Gil III was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1975. He is married to the former Kimberly Phipps of Dothan and has 3 children. He graduated from AuburnUniversity with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Law, with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 1997. He received his Juris Doctor from FaulknerUniversity, Jones School of Law in 2000. He is licensed in Alabama and the Federal Courts in the Middle District of Alabama. Cam was born and raised in Dothan, Al. He graduated from Troy University in 1978 with Bachelors of Science degree and worked as a staff accountant with a local CPA firm. After getting his CPA certificate in 1980, Cam worked in private and public accounting until going back to law school in 1988. Cam received his law degree with High Honors from Florida State University School of Law in 1990 and started practicing law in 1991..
