He graduated from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee on the Dean's List in 1988, with a degree in Economics. Thereafter, he attended Marquette University Law School, concentrating in personal injury and insurance law studies. He graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1991. Steve Kmiec has worked for the Kmiec Law Offices since 1984, initially as office manager. Upon receiving his law degree, he became an associate at the Kmiec Law Office, practicing in the area of personal injury law.
