While serving as a prosecutor and then as General Counsel for the Kansas Board of Healing Arts for many years, I realized the difference it made to have a well-qualified and experienced attorney representing the professionals in the cases before the Board. Many professionals who attempted to represent themselves or had a "lawyer friend" helping them struggled with the processes. Since going into private practice in 2017, I am now able to assist individuals who find themselves the subject of an investigation or disciplinary action by their professional licensing board. I also provide scope of practice advice, review of contracts and forms, assist in setting up new practice entities, represent providers with peer review matters and other health care related issues.
