In 2008, Mr. Harper was recalled to active duty and deployed to Khost, Afghanistan where is served as an embedded combat advisor to the Afghan National Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Achievement in that combat theater. Mr. Harper currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve.. Mr. Harper is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.
