Kevin obtained his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2006. He then worked as counsel in the employment law practice group at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where he represented and advised employers of all sizes and across industries prior to founding Rivera Employment Law.. Kevin’s practice focuses on advising, training, auditing and investigating workplaces to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. He advises employers in all aspects of employment law, reviews and drafts personnel policies and documents, investigates workplace complaints, represents employers in administrative hearings, and audits workplaces for compliance issues.
