Mr. Harris attended the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated with honors in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He attended DePaul University School of Law, receiving a juris doctor degree in 1983.. Mr. Harris was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1983. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, and the California Employment Lawyers Association. He specializes in labor and employment, wage and hour, commercial, and consumer rights matters. He is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.. Mr. Harris was previously a partner at Knapp, Petersen & Clarke, and prior to affiliating with Knapp, Petersen & Clarke Mr. Harris served as a law and motion attorney to the Honorable Judge L. Cole of the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central District.. Mr. Harris focuses on all areas of litigation, with particular emphasis on employment, wage and hour, consumer rights and class and representative actions.
