About Dorie Rogers
I have practiced Family Law since 1981 and have limited my practice to Family Law exclusively since 1984. Family Law matters cover dissolution of marriage (property division, custody and support orders), domestic partnership, domestic violence orders, palimony actions and step-parent adoptions. I also serve on the Family Law Panel of qualified minor’s counsel representing children by court appointment in custody disputes.. Because of my psychological education I am able to effectively litigate child custody matters involving court appointed psychologists with expertise. When there are issues of property and support, I have the ability to be aggressive yet sensitive to my client’s emotional presence from settlement negotiations through litigation. Whether it is crafting a prenuptial agreement, litigating property issues or developing custody orders, knowledge is power and pre-planning in the initial stages is always to one’s advantage..
