Stitch is the founder of the Law Offices of Ronald K. Stitch, located in Westlake Village, California. Certified as a specialist in family law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California, he represents clients throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties.After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University in 1975, Mr. Stitch attended Claremont Graduate University and earned his Master of Arts in zoning and land use in 1976. He then went to Golden Gate University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1979. After opening his office in 1981, Mr. Stitch practiced general civil litigation before turning his focus to family law. He is admitted to practice in California.. The mediation training that Mr. Stitch received from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law as well as the advocacy training from University of California Hastings College of the Law has enabled him to offer mediation services as an alternative dispute resolution option to the litigation process in family law disputes. He encourages clients to opt for this alternative during amicable or low-asset divorce cases that do not involve complex custody issues, and has successfully resolved many matters in such a fashion.
