Mia obtained her bachelor of arts degree from New York University in 1995 and her law degree from the University of Miami, School of Law in 1998. She began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney at Broward County Public Defender’s Office and later transitioned to civil practice representing businesses in both the public and private sector..
