William E. Ruffier is a board certified civil trial lawyer and a named partner of Dellecker Wilson King McKenna Ruffier & Sos, LLP.  Mr. Ruffier has received several prestigious legal honors including the AV® Preeminent Rating™, Martindale-Hubbell® and has been recognized by local and state magazines as as being in the top 1% of attorneys within the state of Florida.  Mr. Ruffier earned his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986 and a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Florida in 1983.  His practice areas include personal injury, product liability, pediatric injuries, nursing home abuse and neglect, auto accidents, wrongful death, insurance company bad faith and hurricane property damage claims.. Throughout his career Mr. Ruffier has been an active member of many civic and social organizations. He has held several leadership positions within the Boy Scouts of America, including positions on the Central Florida Council Executive Board.  Mr. Ruffier has been instrumental in fostering spiritual growth and leadership skills among Orlando’s young men for many years.  In 2011, Mr. Ruffier received the Lutheran Lamb Award , a national award recognizing Mr. Ruffier’s 25 years of distinguished volunteer service as a Christian role model and leader for young people.. Mr. Ruffier has also served on the board of directors for the Central Florida Fair for the past eight years.  Mr. Ruffier was elected to serve as the Vice-President for the 2013-2014 term.
