David Bain has been representing angry investors for more than 20 years. He began his career with a class action firm, litigating securities class actions in the age of Enron. For the last fourteen years he’s had his own practice representing investors in cases against directors, officers, auditors, investment bankers, venture capital firms, broker-dealers, and investment advisers. He often provides the plaintiff’s perspective at securities seminars and has assisted state officials in preparing to testify before Congress concerning securities legislation.. David received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where he was a Woodruff Scholar and was named to Phi Beta Kappa. He was awarded a Chancellors Scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where he received his J.D. with honors. David has been active in the leadership of several community organizations, including having served as President of the Board of Directors for the Federal Defender Program, Inc. and President of the Board of Directors of GreenLaw (an environmental non-profit organization). He recently concluded terms as Co-Chair of the Atlanta Bar’s Securities Subsection and President of the Federal Bar Association’s Atlanta Chapter.
