David Nix was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers in 2012. In 2011, David was a finalist for National Trial Lawyer of the Year as named by the Public Justice Foundation. Also, David is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Nationally Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Prior to working in the field of personal injury trial law, David had spent time as a prosecuter in the District Attorney's Office in Wichita County and worked with a law firm in Fort Worth, Texas, before opting to come back home to the Wichita Falls area.. David has served two different terms as a board director in the Wichita County Bar Association. His fellow lawyers elected David as secretary/treasurer in 2002 - 2003 and president of the Bar Association in 2003 - 2004. The local 13th District elected David to be its representative on the statewide Texas Young Lawyers Association, and he served as its director in 1990. David was also appointed by the State Bar of Texas to the Professional Enhancement Program.
