Stephen R. Bough grew up in Republic, Missouri and attended Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University), where he met his wife, Andrea. After completing law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review, Steve served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Scott O. Wright.. In January, 2011, Mr. Bough was named the "Winningest Plaintiff's Attorney" in Missouri by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
