About John Gilbert
Mr. Gilbert has served as a Director of the State Bar of Texas, as President of the Brazoria County Bar Association, and President of the Angleton Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the American Bar Association, and a Sustaining Life Member of the Texas Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. In addition, Mr. Gilbert holds membership in the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been selected as a Texas SuperLawyer every year since 2004 and serves as a member of the Board of Regents of Brazosport College. He is an Elder and Trustee for the First Presbyterian Church of Angleton.. John and his wife, Nancy, reside in Lake Jackson, Texas. Together they have four children and seven grandchildren.
