Attorney Amber Gratz received her bachelor’s degrees, magna cum laude, in political science and international business.  She then went on to earn her J.D. from University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.  While in law school, Amber served as the Supervising Editor of Articles for the Journal of Law and Education and was a member of the Wagner Moot Court Team that placed fifth in the nation after the first three preliminary rounds advancing to the competition’s playoffs.  Also during law school, Amber did a hands-on externship with the Louisville Legal Aid Society, where she was able to represent clients on their divorce and domestic abuse cases.  Through this externship she gained valuable experience in trial practice, as well as, family law.. At Fox River Law, LLC., Amber specializes in family law and criminal defense.  Amber, along with Attorney Amanda Skorr & Jason Farris provide knowledge and helpful advice when you are facing criminal charges or need help with a divorce or custody/placement matter.  Amber has handled a variety of criminal cases, from OWIs, and drug charges to felony and misdemeanor charges. She has also handled many family law cases where  parents are fighting for placement of their children.  Prior to joining Fox River Law, LLC., Amber began working at Pitsch Law Offices, LLC., where she handled numerous family law and criminal defense cases.. In Amber's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and 2 dogs, hiking and being outside.  She has also coached club volleyball for over 12 years and is active in the Fox Valley volleyball community.
