Celestial (“Celeste”) Roman, Esq. is the Principal Attorney at Celestial Roman Law, PLC. Her immigration practice focuses primarily on complex immigrant visa, green card, asylum, humanitarian, and deportation defense matters. Celeste represents clients before U.S. consulates worldwide, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) offices throughout the United States, EOIR Immigration Courts in Arizona, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). She has also represented clients in immigration-related appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and in federal mandamus actions before the Arizona District Court. Celeste has focused her entire legal career on the practice of immigration law and, while her office is based in Arizona, has achieved favorable outcomes for clients and their families throughout the United States and across the globe, including in Mexico, Canada, the Philippines, France, the United Kingdom, El Salvador, and Thailand, among others.. Celeste is the first-generation daughter of Filipino immigrants and, given her own family’s experiences with the green card and citizenship processes, has firsthand knowledge of the challenges that her clients face in their pursuit of lawful immigration status. Celeste uses this knowledge and experience to ensure that she provides compassionate legal representation to guide her clients and their families through the complex U.S. immigration system. Celeste is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She served as Chair of the Arizona AILA New Members Division from 2015 to 2017 and currently serves as the USCIS Liaison for the Arizona AILA Chapter. Celeste also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Project.
