As a member of the Governing Council of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Arizona, Joe served as editor-in-chief of the Real Property Journal, published quarterly. Joe received his law degree from the University of Chicago, and his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, where he received the Finfgeld Award for best intercollegiate debater. His community service includes a term as president of Rosson House-Heritage Square Foundation, a non-profit corporation concerned with historic preservation in Phoenix. He is a licensed pilot with over 800 hours of flight tie in a variety of aircraft, including gliders.
