Eric B. For his service in Iraq, Eric was twice awarded the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Badge among other individual and unit distinctions. Eric joined the Army National Guard as a college freshman, just a few months before the tragedy of 9/11. His deployment in 2005 delayed his entry to law school for two years but generated a lifetime’s worth of experience and camaraderie.
