Founding Attorney Shannon Wilson started her legal career by serving as an Investigator with the State of Tennessee, where she investigated employment and housing discrimination claims with the Tennessee Human Rights Commission. She then transitioned her State practice to the United States Federal Government, where she served as an Attorney and Representation Specialist with the Office of the General Counsel for the Federal Labor Relations Authority. In that capacity, she investigated and prosecuted unfair labor practice charges, and conducted hearings and elections for federal employee collective bargaining units. She was dedicated to helping families and communities thrive through maintaining fair work environments.. After leaving the Federal sector, Shannon served as a Contract Attorney for several large law firms and legal placement agencies and served as Faculty/Legal Advisor for a Gallup certified training and coaching corporation. Yearning to get back to her passion of service, her career path took a twist — her focus shifted from building legacies and serving through fair work environments to creating legacies through Estate Planning. At that time, she became the lead Attorney for the Atlanta office of a boutique Estate Planning firm, where she fully carried out their mission - empowering individuals and groups to create and protect wealth in order to leave legacies for their families and communities.. Shannon took that passion and commitment, propelled it forward, and is now the Principal/Founding Attorney of Legacy Legal, LLC.
