Claudius D. Wood is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia and a graduate of The Florida State University. Attorney Wood graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, followed by a Master’s of Science degree, both in the Family Relations and Child Development. After careful consideration, Claudius endeavored to continue his education and return to law school in hopes that one day he would be able to help families in crisis after the wrongful death of a loved one the same way that a diligent attorney assisted his family during the loss of his father due to mesothelioma, a type of lung cancer, in 1988.. Claudius earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 2007. While in law school, he was elected the Vice President of the Student Bar Association as well as being selected by the Dean as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Panel. Claudius also began to establish his passion to be a trial attorney on the College of Law Mock trial team, competing across the State of Florida.. Claudius D. Wood has managed to represent various clients to ensure that insurance companies help to make his clients whole after tragic accidents; further, he has defended and assisted in several high profile criminal cases. Additionally, he has worked with various entertainment professionals and agents to become very proficient at the art of negotiation while continuing to deliver stellar work in his penmanship of legal contracts and agreements for services.. Attorney Wood is an active member with the Atlanta Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Claudius is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Tau Chapter and serves on the Board of the High Aspirations Foundation Incorporated, a foundation built upon mentorship to middle school aged children. Claudius is also an officer of Gate City Prince Hall Masonic Lodge #42.
