He started his career in public interest law helping migrant farm workers and indigents in Texas and Washington State. Later he worked in Criminal defense as a public defender in Seattle for many years. As a Public Defender Mr. Ejarque gained invaluable trial and courtroom experience. He learned early how to take tough cases to a jury and how to form persuasive arguments to convince judges and juries to look at his clients story in a new light.
