As a Seattle immigration lawyer for many years, I bring people together by using successful strategies to unite families and to help employers hire top foreign talent. I also help US citizens and would-be citizens with applications for naturalization or citizenship and passports.  I also work with military families.  I am a member of the Washington State Bar since 2003 (and the California State Bar since 1984, inactive since 2011). At the start of my career, I had the honor to serve as a legacy INS Trial Attorney. This government experience helps me see cases from two points of view. I really enjoy being a tireless advocate for fair and just immigration reform legislation, and am actively involved in government liaison, as well as state and federal legislative advocacy. As a former Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Washington Chapter for two years,  I had the honor and pleasure of managing and leading a terrific immigration specialty bar association. I have also served on the national AILA-USCIS International Operations Liaison Committee and the Military Assistance Project Task Force and the AILA national Business Committee.
