While pursuing her law degree, Angel worked at the Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Child Protection Section of the Family Services Division at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Angel served in Howard University School of Law’s Criminal Justice Clinic, and represented clients in criminal cases before D.C. Superior Court.. Prior to building her own practice, Angel served as a Corporate Finance Division law clerk for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a judicial law clerk for a prominent Prince George’s County Circuit Court judge. In both positions Angel managed a case docket of over 1,000 matters; made over 200 final recommendations on legal issues and motions; and drafted several legal opinions..
