Before attending law school, Carolyn worked as a paralegal at a family law firm, where she gained valuable insights into client communication and the emotional challenges families face. Carolyn graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law, earning the Edward T. Lee full-tuition scholarship. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Rosa M. Silva in the Domestic Relations Division, where she observed hearings, drafted orders, and assisted self-represented litigants..
