Richard J. Fox is the principal of the Law Office of Richard J. Fox PLLC. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, real estate based civil litigation (boundary disputes, easements, and post-closing issues), and construction law. Richard graduated from Rutgers College with a B.A. in English, History, and Political Science, and received his Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School.Richard is admitted to practice law in both Vermont and Massachusetts, and also before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and Chittenden County Bar Association, and is an agent for Vermont Attorneys Title Corporation.Richard has lectured on public contracting and construction law issues for construction professionals in Massachusetts and presented CLE seminars on title insurance and real estate law for attorneys and paralegals in Vermont and throughout the country.. Richard is a Vermont native and currently resides with his family in Shelburne, where he is a member and Past President of the Charlotte-Shelburne Rotary Club.  Richard also is an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 7850 and a member of the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization's Board of Directors.  Richard has previously volunteered as an attorney with the Vermont Bar Association’s Military Family Law Project, as an EMT with Shelburne Rescue, and as a Cubmaster with Shelburne Cub Scout Pack 607.
