Tyler has also represented persons and entities in business suits involving breach of contract, negligence, fraud, shareholder disputes, employment law claims, real estate, and a wide variety of other torts and equitable claims.. Tyler has argued in both state and federal courts and has represented clients in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients in mediations and arbitrations.. Ultimately, Tyler has been a part of litigation teams that have assisted clients in obtaining multi-million dollar judgments and settlements in both injury cases and business litigation cases, and Tyler has also successfully defended business claims seeking significant monetary damages.. Tyler graduated with a degree in Economics, summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of Georgia’s moot court and mock trial teams. He won the school’s first-year closing argument competition and was on the winning team and received the best brief award at the Georgia Instrastate Moot Court Competition. Tyler was a pupil in the Lumpkin Inn of Court and upon graduation from law school was inducted into Georgia’s Order of the Barristers. Tyler is currently a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and Gwinnett County Bar Association.. Tyler grew up in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, and softball in his free time, as well as following the Bulldogs, Braves, Falcons, and Hawks. Tyler and his wife, Caroline, who is also an attorney, live in Atlanta and attend Haygood Memorial United Methodist Church. Tyler and Caroline also both serve as attorney coaches for the Grady High School mock trial team.
