Tyler graduated with a degree in Economics, summa cum laude with honors from the University of Georgia and cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of Georgia’s moot court and mock trial teams. He won the school’s first-year closing argument competition and was on the winning team and received the best brief award at the Georgia Instrastate Moot Court Competition. Tyler was a pupil in the Lumpkin Inn of Court and upon graduation from law school was inducted into Georgia’s Order of the Barristers. Tyler is currently a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and Gwinnett County Bar Association.. Tyler grew up in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, and softball in his free time, as well as following the Bulldogs, Braves, Falcons, and Hawks. Tyler and his wife, Caroline, who is also an attorney, live in Atlanta and attend Haygood Memorial United Methodist Church. Tyler and Caroline also both serve as attorney coaches for the Grady High School mock trial team.
