Sara Kubik Bio
I did not always want to be a lawyer. My family is comprised of teachers and professors, so I followed in those footsteps.. But soon after having my first child I was dragged through the courts in a highly contentious custody matter. Years of filings and appearances in courts in two different states caused me to understand that no lawyer could advocate on my behalf like I could.. So I went to law school on a part-time basis while also teaching as a professor full-time! My goal was to absorb as much as I could so I could protect myself and my child.. I practiced family law and have now moved into estate planning and probate administration. I'm dually licensed in Illinois and Indiana. My goal with my firm is to have a legal practice that stands apart from traditional models. I do this by not being a high-volume law firm, by using technology wherever I can, by being more flexible than traditional firms and more.. A friend says I have more degrees than a thermometer. I tell people I love to learn. Let me use my knowledge to help you.
