Personal injury attorney, Curtis Bostic has long been an influential member of the Charleston Community. Elected to Charleston County Council for eight years (2001-2009) he served as both interim chairman and vice-chairman. He has served on numerous Charleston County boards including Charleston’s Magistrate Oversight Committee, Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments, Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee, Public Safety and Health Committee, and the Charleston County Aviation Authority among others. In 2004 he authored and sponsored the Charleston Greenbelt Bank ordinance. To date, this highly successful program has garnered over 59 million dollars to facilitate the purchase of over 15,000 acres in parks and “greenspace” for the citizens of Charleston. Mr. Bostic also served  on Charleston’s Greenbelt Advisory Board.. In 2005 Mr. Bostic founded “Remember”, an international humanitarian aid organization that currently assists widows and orphans in six countries worldwide. He also volunteers his time to hold office on numerous non-profit boards including Harvest Free Medical Clinic, the Charleston Leadership Foundation, Charleston County Motorcycle Squad, Charleston Bible Church, and Appalachian Bible College.. Mr. Bostic is a frequent lecturer on legal topics and has served as a professional legal personality for WCSC channel 5 (NBC affiliate) and WTAT channel 24 (FOX affiliate). For over fifteen years he has hosted a daily radio broadcast. His radio broadcast can be heard on three Charleston stations.. Committed to the pursuit of trial excellence, Mr. Bostic has represented individuals, families, and businesses in court for almost 20 years, successfully litigating against some of the largest insurance, manufacturing, and service companies in the world as well as major medical providers and municipal, state, and federal government agencies..
