While in law school, Mr. Buckley focused his studies on trial advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, and family law. During his final year of law school, he represented military veterans in their familial disputes on a pro bono basis through the John Marshall Law School's Veterans' Legal Aid Clinic.. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Buckley is the co-chair of the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers' Section Family Law Committee and volunteers his time with the Michael Matters Foundation, a non-profit organization established for the purpose of raising awareness and funds for the treatment of glioblastoma brain tumors.
