Biography:. During high school Travis was focused on getting out of Montana and seeing the world. After the fall of communism and the collapse of the Soviet Bloc crushed his desire to serve on the Berlin Wall; Travis decided to join the Navy. “The Navy was, and still is in my opinion, the best place for a young person to discover their full potential.” said Travis. During his time in the Navy, he was given the opportunity to work with all of the wonderful staff of the legal department on his ship as a Master-at-Arms, and this nurtured his ambition to become an attorney. It was also during this time that he had the opportunity to work in the Puget Sound and fell in love with the region and its people.. During undergraduate and law school, he worked to support his family at various positions including UPS, the Boilermaker’s Union, several property management and construction firms and caring for the handicapped as a CNA. These experiences left him with a deep appreciation for what is required to make-ends-meet and the difficulties inherent in providing the best for your family during hard times.. Taking advantage of every opportunity to learn, Travis worked hard at his studies and earned high honors in his undergraduate courses, and in pursuit of a well-rounded legal education, completed many more credits of learning than were required to graduate from law school.. Travis is an honest and straightforward advocate for his clients and is unafraid to aggressively advance their interests. He understands that, “At the end of the day, I have to justify my time and actions, not only to my clients, but to myself and our society as well.” said Travis.
