Ms. Rossi has over 19 years of trial and litigation experience. Throughout the course of her career, in various state and federal courts throughout the country, Ms. Rossi has handled, and continues to handle, a variety of litigation matters, including those involving: breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of good faith and fair dealing, partnership disputes, unfair and deceptive trade practices, shareholder derivative actions, violations of various state and federal statutes designed to protect consumers, trademark infringement, class actions, construction litigation, personal injury, premises liability, professional malpractice and employment litigation. Also, Ms. Rossi regularly represents a federally insured bank that is the United States based credit arm of one of the largest banks in the world in various litigation and arbitration matters. Ms. Rossi has experience handling all phases of litigation, from commencement through trial and appeals.. In the summer of 2010, in recognition of her trial skills, Ms. Rossi was selected as a faculty member at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s (NITA) flagship national program held in Louisville, Colorado. There, she taught trial skills to lawyers seeking to improve their in-court trial abilities. At this program, Ms. Rossi was one of approximately 20 lawyers and judges from across the country chosen by NITA to teach at the program. Since 2010, Ms. Rossi was a faculty member and Assistant Team Leader at NITA’s National Trial Session in Boulder, Colorado in the summer of 2012, and was a faculty member of NITA’s Deposition Skills program in Boston, Massachusetts in September of 2012. Ms. Rossi has been a faculty member with NITA since 2010. She has been teaching lawyers trial skills since 1997.. In addition, since 2010, Ms. Rossi lectured at the Connecticut Bar Association Annual Conferences in Hartford, Connecticut on behalf of the Consumer Law Section of the CBA.  Over the past several years, Ms. Rossi has written and spoken extensively on matters of consumer law, regionally in the Northeast and elsewhere. Her writings have been published not only in Connecticut, but nationally as well.. Before forming her own firm in April of 2010, Ms. Rossi was a lawyer with Robinson & Cole LLP in Hartford, Connecticut. There, she was Chairperson of the Consumer Financial Services Team, a subgroup of that firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. She also served as a Coach to a designated trial training team in that firm’s in-house trial training program during 2008 and 2009, also lecturing during that program on direct examination, cross examination and the introduction of evidence. Before that, Ms. Rossi was a lawyer with Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP, and was a partner with Dennis, Corry, Porter & Smith LLP, both located in Atlanta, Georgia.. It was in 1995, however, that Ms. Rossi commenced her legal career in Boston, Massachusetts, working for a boutique litigation firm. It was there that her trial skills were primed by a few of the best trial lawyers in the Commonwealth, teaching her valuable lessons that she has carried with her over the course of her career.. Ms. Rossi is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, and New York.
