She was a two-time semi-finalist at the White Collar Crime competition in Washington, D.C., won an award for best brief at the South Texas Challenge, Champion of Hippard Novice hosted at UHLC, and semi-finalist in Hippard Open, and she also advanced at other competitions, including the National Trial Competition and South Texas Challenge.. She is a member of the Order of the Barristers, the American Association for Justice, Former Regional Coordinator for the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition, Former Regional Coordinator for the ABA Negotiation Competition (2018), Houston Trial Lawyers Association Board Member, Texas Trial Lawyers Association Advocates Board Member, Director of the ADR Competition Team at the University of Houston Law Center, and she is the past President of the Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation.. Megan is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas.
