William McGowan Bio
Will was born and raised in a small town in west Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he studied Finance and International Business.  After graduating college, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to attend Florida Coastal School of Law.. At Florida Coastal, Will focused his studies on courses in litigation and was a member of Florida Coastal's nationally renowned Mock Trial Team.  He also spent a summer as an intern for the District Attorneys Office for the 25th Judicial District of Tennessee.. After law school, Will moved back to Knoxville to start his career as a lawyer.  In the beginning, his practice consisted of representing businesses and insurance companies. However, he quickly realized that his passion is helping individuals, no matter what their problem may be.. In 2013, Will founded The McGowan Law Firm so he could concentrate on helping people. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, personal injury and family law.. Will lives in Knoxville, Tennessee where he enjoys spending time with his wife and following the Vols.
