Lauren Kelly (Cahill) joined the firm in September 2009. Lauren was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2008. She is experienced in all family law matters including divorce, custody, visitation, equitable distribution, pre-nuptial agreements, enforcement and modification applications, grandparents’ rights, appeals and post-judgment issues.. Lauren has served as an Early Settlement Panelist in Monmouth County since 2017 to assist the Court in settling cases. She has also served as an Early Settlement Panelist in both Middlesex and Ocean Counties. Lauren also offers mediation services as well.. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts, cu laude from the University of South Carolina and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2008, Prior to her entry into private practice, Lauren served as a law clerk to the Honorable Honora O’Brien Kilgallen, the Presiding Judge of the Family part in Monmouth County Superior Court, Chancery Division.. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Brian Sullivan of the Third Judicial Circuit in Detroit, Michigan and acted as her Class President during her second and third years in law school.. Lauren was a semi-finalist in the Ernie Goodman Moot Court Competition and was the recipient of the Book Award while attending law school.. Lauren is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. She is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association and the volunteer organization Impact 100.
