Erin obtained her JD in 2010 from the University of Michigan Law School, and her BS in Neurobiology in 2005 from the University of California, Irvine. She began her career at the Massachusetts Public Defender Office, where she worked as a trial lawyer for over six years. As a public defender, she represented hundreds of individuals charged in District and Superior Courts in Middlesex and Suffolk counties, at trial and in post-conviction proceedings. She has acted as lead counsel in numerous hearings, trials, and on appeal, and is well-versed in Massachusetts criminal law and procedure.
